Inheritance

Inheritance is a series of discarded papers left on my front porch. I began burning holes into each piece as a way of entering into the history of each paper and accessing the past, particularly the remnants of American pop culture. Each mark and burn is an attempt to "get" this history. However, my efforts prove futile and destructive.
