This rickshaw throne provides a sacred refuge for an anonymous middle school girl. Ridiculed and bullied, she confusedly asserts self worth to contend with the rejection of her peers. This moveable sculpture pairs childhood trinkets with random devices of adulthood to symbolize the discomfort and uncertainty of her coming of age.
